It all started a few years ago when two Swiss trained chefs combined forces. They started a food business out of a small mobile kitchen in New Zealand’s alpine thermal village of Hanmer Springs. Business grew and soon an ex-forest service building was converted into a suitable facility to bake some of the finest pies in the country.
Following our vision, producing New Zealand’s finest pies with the help of water from our own alpine stream, PJ’s Pies was born!
